“When chronic illness, anxiety, or trauma begin affecting both your mind and body, life can feel overwhelming and hard to navigate.”

Michelle is a licensed integrative psychotherapist specializing in chronic illness, anxiety/OCD, sexual trauma, and couples work.

I work at the intersection of mental and physical health. Living with chronic, unpredictable symptoms can take a toll on your body, your nervous system, your relationships, and your sense of self. The healthcare journey can add even more stress, confusion, and isolation. My goal is to help you feel empowered and resourced, so you can heal deeply in mind, body, and spirit and strengthen your overall well-being and relationships.

I bring my experience as a patient myself to our work. I’ve lived through chronic illness, and I’ve dedicated my life to supporting others on their journeys.

What inspires me most is helping people transform what they’ve been through into meaningful insight—insight that changes how they relate to their illness, increases capacity for healing, and creates forward movement even when answers are incomplete.

In session, we’ll explore the mind-body connection and how chronic symptoms can be intertwined with trauma that hasn’t been fully processed. We won’t reduce your illness to a single cause. Instead, we’ll integrate your medical reality with a trauma-informed understanding of how your body’s stress response may be driving symptoms and shaping coping patterns.

I’m honored to hold therapeutic space and witness transformations. I believe loss can become gain and suffering can become insight, especially when you’re guided with compassion, clarity, and a nervous-system-aware approach.
